PROFIT FROM TOURISTS. OPPORTUNITY AT KAWAU. Wherever the handling of tourist traffic has been put on a commercial basis, the enterprises have returned substantial dividends. Proof of this is to be found in Italv, in Switzerland and in California, while, coming nearer home, there are the tourist resorts in the Blue Mountains of Australia, where a number of highly-pay-ing, privately-managed tourist resorts are to be found. In New Zealand a non-pay-ing alpine resort has been converted into a profitable enterprise through the adoption of business methods in attracting visitors and in catering for them after they have Arrived. Consideration of these facts makes the flotation of Kawau, Limited, well worthy of the study of investors. In Kawau Island, with its already large summer tourist traffic, the company has an asset that is capable of tremendous exploitation, for not only is there the profit from the tourist traffic to be looked to, but there are other sources of revenue in the disposal of timber, the sale of sections for seaside residences, and the shingle, renting of furnished houses, profits from the store, etc. In developing ail the assets of the island the latest methods are to be used. The company has already the goodwill of New. Zealanders who know Kawau, and this good will has been strengthened by the publication of the names of the provisional directors, who invite the investing public to share with them the big profits thatmay hfe anticipated when the resources of the island are fully developed. Full details will gladly be given at the offices of the company, *2l, Endean's Buildings, Queen Street.—Advt. « 200 Yards of Broehe Crystallite, in all the newest shades.
