AVIATION FATALITY.

ITALIAN MAJOR DROWNED. DI PINEDO SLIGHTLY HURT. A. and N.Z. ROME. July 20. While the noted Italian airman, Colonel di Pinedo, was alighting from a hydroplane at Pisa, after a test flight in the machine in which he had intended to make a world flight, a huge wave capsized it. Major Conti was drowned and di Pinedo was slightly injured. The machine was completely wrecked.
