REVOLVERS AND KNIVES
WEAPONS CARRIED BY MAN. ARREST IN EARLY MORNING. REMANDED WITHOUT BAIL. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] INVERG ARGILL. Wednesday. A man carrying three revolvers, one of which was loaded, and two sheath knives, was arrested by Constable Do'.vling at. three o'clock this morning. Ihe constable, noticed a young man walking along the street. He was poorly dressed and the constable questioned him. He gave as his address the name of a streat unknown in Invercargill. The constable decided to search him, and it was found he wa> carrying three revolvers in iiis pockets, one of which was loaded in four chambers, and had a spent cartridge in the fifth. He had attached to his waistbelt two sheath knives. In the Police Court to-day Leslie Edyvcan was charged with being found by night in possession of a loaded revolver. He was remanded for a week without bail.
