ARRANGING SHOW DATES.
A CONFERENCE PROPOSED. ACTION OF OPOTIKI SOCIETY. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] OPOTIKI, Monday.. At a meeting of the executive of the dpotiki Agricultural and Pastoral .Association on' Saturday evening a -letter' was received from the Royal Show Society forwarding remits- discussed at the recent conference. It was resolved to support the remits relating >. to- the ownership of horses or ponies entered at all shows. "
It was decided to write to all agricultural and' pastoral associations recommending that a conference be held' to arrange dates - for the holding of > shows.
A stock drive is to be held for the purpose of raising funds for carrying out alterations to the showgrounds.
