The Government meteorologist reported last evening as follows: —Present indications are for freshening easterly winds northward of Kawhia and East Capo and moderate to strong northerlies prevailing elsewhere; weather fair generally, but cloudiness is increasing and rain is probable soon in the northern districts: The barometer has a falling tendency in the north.
