Captain L. McLaglen, of Cbristchurch. is at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. and Mrs. G. E. King, of Kohukohu, are at the Star Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. S. Abraham, of Palmerston North, are at Stonehvirst. Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Harding, of Mangawhare, are at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. P. H. Hughes will leave Wellington by the Maunganui to-day for San Francisco. Mr. J. N. Ross, of Palmerston North, and Mr. J. Clark, of Otaki, are at the Royal Hotel. Mr. H. • Patience, of Wellington, and Mr. J. O'Sullivan, of Hastings, are at the Central Hotel. Mr. W. Campbell, of Adelaide, and the Rev. W. W. Alexander, of Victoria, Canada, are at Stonehurst. Mr. C. J. B. Norwood, Mayor of Wellington, was a passenger for Sydney from Auckland by the Aorangi yesterday. Dr. and Mrs. T. McKiernan, of To Kopuru, and Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Collison. of Hastings, are at the Central Hotel. Mr. J. F. Hosking left for Wellington last evening, He will join the Maunganui on a trip to Canada and the United States. Mr. J. Maughan Barnett, city organist, has returned after a health recruiting trip abroad, spent chiefly, in England and America. Colonel C. W. Mitchell, of Wellington, Mr. R. C. Wickens, of Cbristchurch, Mr. J. M. McLeod, of Geraldine, and Mr. G. Reid, of Timaru, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. E. D. Taylor, Mr. A. G. Johnston, Mr. A. N. Robertson, Mr. G. J. Gardiner, Mr. G. Wiwnold, and Mr. W. Keenevside, of Wellington, are at the Star Hotel. Mr. R. B. McComas, a leading Melbourne woolbroker, who is also a director of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and a member of the Australian Central Wool Committee, left Auckland for Sydney by the Aorangi yesterday. Mr. McComas arrived in Auckland from Sydney last week.
