AUCKLAND RACING CLUB.
NOMINATION OF OFFICERS. Nominations closed on Saturday for officebearers in connection with tho Auckland Racing Club rendered vacant by eu.uxion of time. Tho following were tho nominations Presidont, Sir Edwin. Mitchelson, K.C.M.G., M.L.C.; vice-president. Mr. 11. O Nolan; committee (five vacancies). Messrs. S. Bradley. C. A. Brown. Fred Earl, K.C.. M. M. McCallum. O. Nicholson: stewards (three vacancies). Messrs. M. J. Lynch. L. C. Rathbone. G. A. Wynyarci. \V. C. Ring, sen. As the nominations for president, vice-president and members of committee do not exceed the required number a ballot will be unnecessary, and the members nominated will be declared elected unopposed. A ballot will, however, be necessary for the election of stewards.
