What is beauty ? It is harmony and poise. To be lasting, it must also be truth and peace. It. is one of the results of self-control and the outcome not only of physical but of psychic health. The" beauty that will last, not the ephemeral and audacious loveliness of youth, is largely spiritual. It is, above all, the elimination of all that is ugly. The beauty-seeker must combine the mental ' and the physical, and must mix eommonsense and sweetness with her face creams and lotions.
