Public notice is hereby given that Pursuant to Section 64 of "The Rating Act, 1925," that the Takapuna Borough Council has resolved that a Tebate of Five pounds (£5) per centum be allowed to every Ratepayer on the total rales payable by him for the year ending March 31. 1927, if such Rates be paid within Thirty (30) days from the date of demand thereof. RESOLUTION. L That in pursuance and ercercise of tho powers contained in the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913, and Amendments thereto, The Local Bodies Empowering (Relief of Unemployment) Act. 1926. and every other power in that behalf enabling it. the Newmarket Borough Council, with the object of providing relief of unemployment, hereby authorises the raising of a Special Loan ot £3OOO for the purpose of effecting permanent improvements (including the construction of rockeries, erection of conveniences, and the preparation of site and provision of apparatus for children's playground), to the area known as Outhwaite's Park, being Allotment 9 oi 1, Section 3, Suburbs of Auckland, D.P. 19010. 2, That the said Loan be repayable within a period of twenty (20) years, and provision made for payment of a Sinking Fund of not less than £i per centum 'per annum. 8- That for the purpose of providing interest, sinking fund and other charges on the said Loan of £3OOO. the Newmarket Borough Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of Three Farthings (<d) in the £ on the annual value of all _the ratable property in the Borough of Newmarket, and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of stich loan, and be payable yearly on the Ist day of July in each and every year during the currency of stich Loan, being for a period of twenty (20) years, or until the Loan is fully paid off.
