THIRD TRIAL MATCI4, AUCKLAND V. THE REST. The series of trial maichea in connection with the selection of the New Zealand League' team to tour England will be continued at Carlaw Park this afternoon, when the Auckland representatives will play a team selected from the rest of New Zealand. Tho Southern team will be reinforced by the inclusion of Carroll fWellington). Devine (Timam), and Vivian (Canterbury). Geison (Waikato) will replace TalUntire as licoker m the second spell. The Auckland team is a strong combination, and although several of the best backs and forwards have been on. it ted. the members should give a good account of themselves. Of the 20 players who will take the field, a number have" excellent chances in the final selection. The game will commence at 2.45. The teams are as follow: Auckland.—Gregory, Munsill.
