A WEDDING.
A pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Andrew's Church, Epsom, on Thursday, June 24, When William Robert (Roy) third son of Mr, and Mrs. John Pendergrast, of - Pokeno Valley, was married to Joyce, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Reed, Freamont, Mount Eden. The bride who entered the church on the am of her father, wore a beautiful gown of ivory satin embossed ntarocain beaded with pearls. Her veil was of Brussels net, drcped, and held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a beautiful bouquet to match. The bridesmaids were the Misses Ruby and Gladys Reed, sisters of the bride. The former was gowned in lavender silk crepe georgette finished in n deeper shade of kilted ribbon, while the latter wore mauve georgette trimmed with silver. Both wore headdresses of tulle swathed and finished with silver leaves and rosebuds. Their bouquets were of anemones and maiden-hair fern to tone. Mr. A. G. Pendergrast, brother of the bridegroom, fulfilled the dutip-s of best man, while Mr. W. Wharffa aefcod as groomsman. The Rev. Lionel Harvie officiated.
