AGRICULTURAL TRAINING.
TECHNICAL COLLEGE WORK. PROPOSAL FOR EXTENSION. A proposal with the object of extending the scope of agricultural education at the college was placed before tlio Agricultural and Pastoral Association yesterday hv the secretary of the Scddon Memorial Technical College. The letter stated that tho Board of j Managers of the college had decided to endeavour to promote greater interest in secondary school agricultural work by promoting an agricultural advisory committee to make recommendations and suggestions to the Board of Managers in respect of the improvement mid extension ' of the agricultural work of the college. The association was requested to appoint n representative on the proposed Advisory Board. Other bodies that were being requested to appoint representatives were the Toung Citizens' League, Farmers' Union, wool, seeds and manure merchants and the Fruitgrowers' Association. Mr. A. D.
