The undergraduates gathered'in force and made things lively. Before tins formal proceedings commenced songs and cross-talk" were indulged in. | The speakers were subjected to a great deal of good-nat» <'od "barracking" which, was taken with the utmost good 'humour.* Mr. Justice Ostler's speech had a 'running accompaniment from the .students. When ho said every man had a different, .capacity the undergraduates shouted: . "What v s yours?"; They sang 'Ostler Keep Your Tail Up."
