Thornton; treasurer, Mr. J. l'enniket; advisory board, Messrs. G. M, Dodd, A. Ramsay and J. Bruce. The retiring president, Mr. Barter, expressed the opinion that the Waikato Union should have provincial status with headquarters at Hamilton. This view was also taken by the incoming president, Mr. Lee Martin. It, was decided to support the resolution of the Cambridge branch that a protest be made against the efforts to obtain an increase in protective traiffs, and that support be given to the Dairy Control Board's policy of absolute control. The term o'f office of 12 months for subprovincial presidents was not considered sufficiently long and it was decided to ask the Dominion executive for authority to make retiring presidents ex-officio members of the executive.
