The champion pacer Great Bingen returned lo Christchureh on Monday ft jJ cr being away in Australia for several months. It is reported that he travelled well and is in Kood condition. Tlie imported trotter Guy P.arrish is reported to bo striding along freely in bis work. Southern critics lioid a high opinion of Guy I'arrish, who is one of the bestbred trotters in the Dominion. It is reported that Glenelg will not bo got ready for spring meetings, as it has been decided not to race hiiii until near the middle of the now season. Glenelg is :i brilliant pacer and should take high honours next season. That good trotter Grand Voyage, who won t.ha Olahuhu Cup at Alexandra 1: ark a lew seasons ago, was sold recently in Victoria for £4OO. Pedro Pronto, who met with a mishap last spring and has since been spelling, is to bo placed in work again shortly. Ho is reported to be big and healthy after his enforced holiday, but doubts are expressed about him standing a preparation.
