AUTHORITIES APPOINTED.

The principal local authority in each case has been appointed the licensing authority in their respective districts under the motor-bus regulations. The warrants for these appointments have been signed and tlu list, of licensing authorities was made available to-day. It is as follows: —No. 1, Auckland City Council; No. 2, Takapuna Borough Council: No. 3, Gisiiorne Borough Council; No. <l, Hamilton JV,rough Council; No. 5, New Plymouth Borough Council; No. 6, Wangiinui City Council; No. 7, Palmerston North Borough Council; No. 0, Napier Borough Council; No, 9, Wellington City Council; No. 10, C'liristchurcli City Council; No. 11, Tirnaru Borough Council; No 12, Dunedin City Council; No. 13, tnve.rcargill Borough Council.
