YOUR DRESSING TABLE.

Have you allowed all sorts of really unnecessary little jars to collect on your dressing table? Now, to keep the skin fresh and well cared for, two sorts of creams only are really necessary-—a good skin food for night use, and a foundation cream for powder and rouge during the day. Some girls find a third, a cleansing cream essential. 1 Next, every girl's dressing table should include a lotion that will protect her skin if it's going to be unusually exposed— in a day's motoring, for example. Ihess lotions act, as a liquid powder, so they can be used for dances as well, to whiten the neck and arms. Add to these accessories three more—powder, rouge and lip-salve, and you have all the essentials that will help to make you beautiful. The next thing you must consider—after deciding just how many things you need is what to buy. You can't go wrong if you choose two good creams of the saano make, one a skin food, preferably, not just a night cream that softens the skin, but one that feeds it as well. You can think of many such, they're largely advertised. As regards quantity, it's most economical to buy a medium-sized jar. It works out cheaper than the small size. Then dash it over with cold water. This makes you beautifully, fresh and wakes you up for the day's work. Avoid putting it on in a little spot —it must faintly shade the cheek. That's all you need do to look well cared for. It's worth the effort, isn't it? Lastly, now you've got all your creams and know how to use them you must see that they're kept spotless. It's a good plan to have two large decorative boxes, one to hold your cream jars and the other for your brushes. This keeps each clean with no effort.
