SHARE IN FORTUNE.
COPPER MAGNATE'S ESTATE. CLAIMANT IN AUSTRALIA. (Received 7.3 p.in.) IM.lr-r. VANCOUVER. May 5. Advice , has been received from Butte, Montana, that the existence of a new claimant, a resident of -Australia, for a share in an estate valued at £10,000,000 left by n incmfjer of the Senate, Mr. W. / A. Clark, who wis known a.s tlic " Copper King," was disclosed to-day. The recorder of the District Court received si letter from Mr. C. ('J. I'rescott, ;i solicitor in New South Wales, asking how lie could get in touch with the proper authorities on behalf of his client, Mrs. Elizabeth Cornel ions, who said she was a / niece of the former wife of the late senator. In his letter Mr. Prescotb did not elaborate on his client's claims to relationship, beyond mentioning that the aunt's maiden name was Catherine O'DorinelL Mr. Clark was married twice, first to a Miss Staffer and subsequently to ;/ 'Miss La Chappelle.
