Association to-nighi considered a letter from the Auckland Association notifying its intention to engage a professional player-coach for at least three ' seasons and appealing to Otarro fo engage a conch for next, season. After other adverse opinion's had been voiced the meeting decided it could not see its way to support the proposal.
