ACCIDENT AT SEA.
CADET FALLS DOWN HOLD. An accident occurred on the steamer Raranga on Monday when she was en route from Newcastle to Auckland and was rolling heavily in the high seas. Mr. L. J. Lemon, a cadet, fell from the 'tween decks into tho hold and fractured his right leg, besides receiving other injuries. After the ship berthed at Queen's Wharf yesterday morning the injured man was lifted on to tho wharf by a Harbour Board crane and was then taken to tho hospital in the St. John ambulance.
