WEDDINGS.

A quiet but pretty wedding took place on Tuesday evening at St. Mark's Church, Remuera, when Miss Doris Madeline Gee, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Gee, Remuera, was married to Mr. John E. Gulliver, fourth son. of Mrs. and the late Mr. William Gulliver, Heme Bay. The service, which was choral, was conducted by the Rev. G. C. Cruickshank. The bride, who entered tho church on the arm of her father, wore white satin with

handsome French embroidered and sequin overdress. Her veil, which was embroidered, formed a train, and she carried a shower bouquet of white flowers. Miss Ena Gee, sister of the bride, and Miss Dorothy Devereux acted as bridesmaids. They wore pretty frocks of delphinium blue and silver, and carried bouquets of delphiniums and pink carnations. Mr. T. V. Gid liver, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man and Mr. John Somers, of Te Aroha, as groomsman.

A very pretty wedding took place at the Methodist Church at Manurewa on Saturday, April 3, when Miss Enid Whyte, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. W.--Whyte, of Manurewa, was married to Mr. Kevin O'Halloran, second son of Mr. and Mrs. G. O'Halloran, of Remuera. The Rev. D. D. Scott, of Onehunga, officiated. The bride, who entered the church on the arm ' of her father, wore ivory satin and lace. A coronet of brilliants and orange blossoms caught the embroidered tulle veil and she carried a lovely shower bouquet. She was attended by two bridesmaids, Misses Bertha Elliot and Joyce t>'Halloran, and a maid of honour, Miss Kathleen Mathew, who preceded her up the aisle. The three, who were dressed in frocks of white georgette with a stencilled design in blue, gold and henna round the skirts, wore > mob caps of shot tulle with'"wreaths to tone, and carried bouquets of delphinuims. The bridegroom was attended bv Mr R. Falla as best man and Air. ; Lionel O'Halloran and Sir. Fred Whyte M grcOTQJsmen.
