LOCAL BODY ELECTIONS.
ROAD BOARD MEMBERSHIP. ONE TREE HILL AND TAMAKI, RESULT OF THE POLLING.
An election to filf three vacancies on tho One Tree Hill Road Board was held yesterday. Thero were ten nominations. The successful candidates are:—Messrs. R. G. Clark, C. L. Mcintosh, and J. M. Wilson. For the Tamakr Road Board election yesterday there were five nominations. The three successful candidates are: — Messrs. S. Barton, J. W.' Can - and J. H. Hubber. TWO ELECTIONS TO-DAY. OSTEND AND MT. WELLINGTON. An election of four members of the Ostend Road Board will be held to-day. Thero are eight nominations, as follow : Messrs. J. H. Faulconbridge, T. W. Finer, H. T. Garratt, H. W. Williams (retiring members), C. A. Butler, W. J. Hill, A. Smith and Mrs. M. E. McComb. Polling will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at tho following places:—Office of the board, National Mutual Life Buildings, Shortland Street, and Whitnker's Hall, Putiki, Wailieke. An election to fill two vacancies on the Mount Wellington Road Board will be held to-day. Four nominations have been received as follow: Messrs. W. Oollan, S. Hamlin, A. C. Hare and F. Wilson. Polling will take place at the office of tho board.

P. Drury, who has represented Ohiwa for 38 years, did not seek nomination this year, having decided to retire. He was first elected in 1884 and has represented the riding ever since.
