HUG "BY FOOTBALL. START OF COMPETITIONS. OPENING MATCHES TO-MORROW. NEW PLAYERS IN SENIOR GRADE. The official opening of the Auckland Rugby Union football season will take place tomorrow afternoon. The majority of the teams chosen for the senior matches include a, good sprinkling o.f newcomers and promoted juniors and there is every prospect of a high standard of play being attained as tho season advances. To-morrow's programme will have as the chief attractions the senior matches, Grafton v. Ponsonby and Grammar Old Boys v.
