CORPORATION NOTICES. gOROUGH OF OTAHUHU. THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1913. PROPOSED LOAN OF £7OOO FOR OFFICE, FIRE BRIGADE AND PLANT. The Mayor, Councillors and Burgesses of the Borough of Otahuhu, hereby give notice, in pursuance) of Section 9 of the abovementioned Act: — (1) That the amount of the proposed Loan is £7(100. (2) That the purposes' for which the Loan is required lire: (a) The sum of £5500 for the purpose of erecting Borough Council Chambers and accommodation for the Otahuhu Fire Brigade and equipment. (b) The sum of £"250 for the purpose of erecting a men's convenience. (c) The sum of £llOO for the purpose of purchasing a fire motor, and complete equipment for tho said Otahuhu Fire Brigade. (d) The sum of £OSO for tho purpose of erecting sheds for tho storage of the Borough Plant. (e) The sum of £IOO for the purpose of removing the Fire Bell from the Great South Road and re-erecting the same on the Council Chambers site. (3) That the Otahuhu Borough Council being unable to provide the necessary funds for such works out of tho ordinary revenue of tho Borough, proposes to raise a special loan of not exceeding £7OOO. (•!) That the. proposed security for the repayment of such loan shall be an annually recurring special rate of Nine-sixteenths (9-10lhs) of a penny in the pound on the ratable value of all ratable property in - the. Borough of Otahuhu. (5). That the Otaliuhu Borough Council proposes to make bucli loan repayable in 3GJ years and to make provision for the payment of a sinking fund of not less than one per centum per annum. (0) That the Otahuhu Borough Council proposes to pay out of the loan moneys the cost of raising the loan, together with Ihe interest and sinking fund thereon for the first year.
