Michael Quinlan, aged 38, suspectrrl for soino timo of being an opium dealer, was last, night seen by a constable entering a Chinaman's shop. Ho. denied having any opium, but a search produced four tins from his pockets. To-day Quinlan was fined .€4O for being illegally in possession of opium, in default six weeks' imprisonment.
