ANZAC DAY SERVICES.
ALTERATION IN TIMES. An alteration in the time of holding the memorial services on Anzac Day has been made by the Anzac Day Committee, as a result of representations made to the Mayor by Archbishop Averill. It was pointed out that as Anzac Day this year fell on a Sunday the holding of the Town Hall service in the morning would inter fere with the regular church service,;. The committee decided that the Town Hall service should be held at 2.30 p.m., and the Waikumete service at 3 p.m. By this arrangement those who so desire will be able to witness the parade to the Town Hall and then proceed to Waikumete in time to take part in the memorial service there.
