Mr. J. 11. Absolom has again been chosen by a meeting of delegates to represent- the Hawke's Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Societies on the Board of Agriculture.
Mr. p. W. Stride, of Christchureii, Mr. A. G. Bonner, of Dargaville, Messrs G. S. Greig and 11. Gillam, of London, and Messrs. A. D. Jack and F. Cunning, ham, of Whangarei, arc at the Roval Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs, R. J. Coafes will leavo to-day by the Marama for Sydney, where they will join the Orient liner Ormonde for England. After an extended tour of Britain and the Continent they will return to Auckland via America.
