SCHOOL DENTAL CLINIC.

EDENDALE ARRANGEMENTS. START IN. MONTH OR TWO. A school dental clinic, on similar lines to that recently opsr ed at Avondale South School, is shortly to he established at the Edendale School The Edendale School Committee some months ago approached the Health Department in the matter and the chairman of the committee, Mr. J. Carrie, interviewed in Wellington Mr. J. L. Saunders, ActingDirector of Dental, Hygiene. The result was that the committee was advised at it s meeting on Tuesday evening that Nurse Bmn, who is at present attached to the Avondale clinic, would bo available in a month or two to inaugurate a similar clinic at Edendale. A sub-committee, comprising Messrs. J. Carrie, C. Cartwright and J. J. Crawford was appointed to put into operation a scheme to raise funds for the building of a structure to house the clinic. It is proposed to issue a direct appeal to the parents and householders of the district.
