Tlie conference of the New Zealand Federation of Master Plumbers was continued to-day, when further important matters were discussed. It was resolved that the Labour Department should be recommended to ascertain tho number of plumbers in the' various industrial districts, for the purpose of determining the number of apprentices allowed. Tha following remit, moved by Mr. J. E, Gray (Auckland), was carried: "That • the executive approach the educational authorities and endeavour to arrango for plumbing instruction to be given by correspondence to apprentices in country districts where there are no technical colleges."-
