NEW SCHOOL CHAPLAIN.
REV. F. P. WILLIS ARRIVES, DUTIES AT KING'S COLLEGE. SERVICE IN GREAT WAR. : ■ . , j , t 1 _ „ . - ; 'V- , , The new chaplain for King's College, Middlemore, the Rev. F. P. Willis, arrived at Auckland yesterday by the Maunganui from Sydney. Although he has been in England for the past 10 years* Mr. Willis is a New Zealandfer, being a son of the late Archdeacon Willis, of Cambridge. •He was educated at Christ's College, Christchurch. Mr. Willis served with the New Zealand forces during the war and later studied at Oxford, where he took second class honours. He was ordained by the Bishop of Manchester in the Manchester Cathedral in 1922. He was then appointed to a training school for ex-service men at Knutsford, Cheshire. These men were prepared for the university. Mr. Willis subsequently became curate of the parish of Bury, Lancashire. "I am looking forward to my new duties very much," said Mr. Willis yesterday. " .Now I am back I intend to stop here."
