TWO JAPANESE LINES. A PROVISIONAL AGREEMENT. (Received 5.5 p.m.) Renter TOKIO. Jan. 'M. The directors of the Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (Japan Mail Steamship Company) and the Tovo Kisen Kabushiki Kaisha (Oriental Steamship Company) have formally agreed to an amalgamation of the two concerns provided that the Diet grants a subsidy to enable the former company to construct superior TransPacific vessels. The Toyo Kisen Kaisha is to recclvo 125,000 shares from the Nippon Yusen Kaisha.
