Vincent last evening:— Fair weather will prevail temporarily, followed shortly by a renewal of cloudy and unsettled conditions with further heavy rain over most of tho Dominion. A new disturbance is developing to tho northwest. Westerly winds, moderate to strong, veering to north, then freshening. Seas moderate. Barometer, midnight, 29.98 in.; steady. GOVERNMENT REPORT. The Government meteorologist reported last evening as follows:—Present indications are for moderate westerly breezes, veering to freshening northerlics; expect warm, humid conditions, cloudy and misty at times, showery ou tho west coast and in southern districts.
