MAN'S DESPERATE FLIGHT.
DISTURBED IN AN HOTEL.

A sensational leap from the third storey window of tho Dominion Hotel was made by a man who was interrupted while going through the bedrooms at six o'clock this evening. When accosted by the licensee he raised the window and jumped, landing .on his hands and knees on a grass plot. To the surprise of his pursuers he got to his feet and made off, but was captured by detectives. When examined at the police station he was bleeding from the face, but thera was no sign of other injury. About £4 is alleged to be missing from rooms, * •••"
The man was sent to hospital. Later he is to appear in Court to answer a charge of theft.
