Tenders are invited for the followiuj Drainage Works:— NO. 1 CONTRACT.- -The drain known as the Main Lake Drain, to be widened over its whole length, from its outlet at the Taupiri-Gordonton Road, tc the old Rototuna Lake, a distance oi two hundred and eighty-seven chain? One hunderd and eighty-seven chain? to be widened a further two feet and one' hundred chains to bo widened u further three feet. Tenders to be at per chain. NO. 2 CONTRACT.—Williamson's Drain. Widening and deepening this drain a further eighteen inches in width and over part a further two feet two inches in depth, over a distance of thirtyfivo chains. In addition widening a further thirty chains to conform to a batter of Quarter to one. Tenders tc bo at per chain. NO. 3 CONTRACT.—Boyd's Drain. Making a new "drain from the Main Lake Drain to the Flaxinill Drain, a dis tance of fifty-six chains. Such drain to be approximately six feet in depth two feet wide in bottom and, five feel wide at the top. In addition deep ening a portion of the Flaxmill Drair a further eighteen inches over a distance of thirty-five chains. Tenders to be at per chain. NO. 4 CONTRACT.—Peach's Drain. A diversion drain to be made approximately three feet- deep, three feet widt in bottom and four feet six inches wide in top.
