REGATTA AT MERCER. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] MERCER, Tuesday. It has been decided to hold a regs,tta at Mercer in February, probably on the last Saturday in the month. Tho following committee has been set up, with power to add to its number:—Messrs. R. Aylett, chairman; A. Wisnesky, secretary; H. Lechner, treasurer; W. Oliver, E. Simpson, T. Lee, R. Barnes, J. Allan, C. Doclierty, F. Parsons, W. Lee, A. Tuckey, A. Pitt, E. Beamish, F. Skeen, T. Freeborn and J. Cooper. An offer by- the Auckland Rowing Association to allocate certain provincial championships and prizes to the regatta and fo indemnify the committee up to £25 against loss has been accepted.
