AEKINS-CRAIG WEDDING.
A very pretty wedding was celebrated at the residence of the bride's paronts, 17, Lower Symonds Street, Auckland, on Decern oer 24, when Gladys, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Craig, was married to Mr. Kenneth C. Aekins, youngest son of Mrs;. M. Aekins, of Wellington. The Rev. J. Lamb Harvey officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore an exquisite gown of orchid shade georgette, trimmed with velvet i ribbons in deeper tonings. Her tulle I veil, which was of the same colouring, was caught with a diamond clasp. A sheaf of Christmas lillies tied with silver ribbons completed the toilet. The bridesmaid, Miss Elma Curnow, of Bendigo, Victoria, cousin of 'he bride, wore a frock of shell-pink georgette, her head being swathed in tulle of same shade. She carried a sheaf of pink gladioli. Little Pauline Knight, neice of the bride, was flower girl, and was sweetly dressed in pink, with a wreath of rose 3 on her head. She carried a silver basket of pale pink carnations. Mr. H. A. Craig, brother of tho bride, was best man. The reception after the ceremony was held in the drawing room, which was beautifully decorated with ribbons, flowers and wedding bells.
