TO-DAY'S WEATHER. HERALD'S SPECIAL FORECAST. The following weather forecast for 24 hours from 7 a.m. to-day was supplied to us by Mr. H. M. Vincent last evening:— Fair to cloudy weather will prevail generally, and conditions in most plaees will become wanner. Westerly to south-wes-terly winds, rnoderato to strong. Seas moderate. Barometer, midnight, 30.15 in., steady. GOVERNMENT REPORT. The Government meteorologist reported last evening as follows:—Present indications are tor moderate to strong and variable winds, south-westerlies prevailing, ami veering to northerlies shortly; weather warmer, with increasing cloud and haziness, and rain following later. Barometer rising, but falling again after about 16 hours.
