SYDNEY PASSENGER SERVICE. J No advice Las been received by the local office of the Huddnrt Parker Company as to when the Ulimaroa will resume running. In consequence of the vessel being laid up there will not be a Sydney passenger steamer arriving at or leaving New Zealand naxt week. The Royal Mail steamer Niagara, taking passengers from Auckland, wHI s al l at noon to-morrow for Sydney. On Friday the Maungnnui will leave Auckland, and the Mai-ama will leave Wellington for Sydney. The next steamer to bring passengers to Auckland from Sydney will be the Niagara, due 011 January 18, en route to Vancouver. The Marama will roach Auckland and tho Mana|;anui Wellington from Sydney tho following day.

RAW SUGAR FROM FIJI. , Colonial Slugar Company advises that tho Rona sailed, from Suva at six o clock yestorday morning with a full cargo ot raw sugar for Auckland. Sho is due on Saturday morning. HUIA CLEARED GRAFTON. With a full cargo of Australian hardwood the Nobel Explosives Company's auxiliary schooner Huia sailed from Clarence River for Auckland yesterday. She is due about the middle of next week. R.M.S. TAHITI AT WELLINGTON. The Royal Mail steamer Tahiti, from Sydney, berthed at Wellington at half-past ten yesterday morning. She will resume her voyage to-day to Rarotonga, Papeete and San Francisco. PRODUCE FROM AUSTRALIA. The Kaikorai 'is expected to leave Sydney to-day with Australian produce for Auckland. Sho is due next Monday. OIL FROM SINGAPORE. The oil tanker Anamba was to leave SinKaporo on December 25 with a full of oil for discharge at New Zealand ports. THE WEST NTV ARIA. The Swayne and Hoyt Line steamer West Nivaria will completo unloading at Prince's Wharf this morning. She is to sail about mid-day for Wellington, Timarv, and Melbourne in continuation of her voyage from Pacific Coast ports. THE PORT BOWEN. Cargo pperations on the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Bowen at : Queen's Wharf will be completed on Thursday morning. She will then take her departure for New York, Boston and London. THE MOERAKI. From Melbourne direct tho Union Company's intercolonial passenger steamer Mocraki reached Wellington at 9 o'clock yesterday morning. She will sail at 4 o'clock this afternoon for Melbourne, via Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. DEVON AND LEITRIM REPORTED. Arrivals at Panama on Saturday included the Devon, en London, and tho Leitrim, en routo to New York, Boston and West of England ports. Both vesels sailed from New Zealand on December 10, tho Devon from Auckland and the Leitrim from Gisborne. RUAHINE AT COLON, From London and Southampton with passengers, mail and cargo for New Zealand, the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruahine reached Colon on Saturday. Her cargo in for discharge at Wellington and Auckland. She is duo at Wellington on January 23. SUSSEX FROM INDIA. With Eastorn produce from Calcutta, Singapore and Samarang, tho steamer Sussex, running under the außpices of tho Union Company, is expected at Auckland on Friday. Sho will also discharge at Wellington. Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff. XAIWARRA DUE TO-DAY. A wireless message roceiyed from tho Kaiwarra states that sho will arrivo from Fiji at threo o'clock this afternoon. She will unload fruit at King's Wharf and raw sugar at Chelsea. Afterwards she will discharge coal from Newcastle. REMUERA'S SAILING DATE. Tho local office of the Now Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Remuera, now loading at Contral Wharf, is to be despatched at noon on Thursday with passengers and mail for Southampton and London, via Pitcairn Island, Panama and Curacao.

IL4P.AMA RELIEVES MAHENO. Having made hor last trip in the intercolonial sorvico for some time, tho Maheno reached Wellington from Sydney yesterday afternoon. Alter landing her passengers, mail and cargo she will be withdrawn from the service and will be laid up indefinitely. Sho will be replaced by the oil-burner Marama, which will take up her time-table, leaving Wellington for Sydney on Friday. NIAGARA DUE AT MID-DAY. According to wireless advice received from the Royal Mail steamer Niagara, sho will reach Auckland at a quarter to 12 to-day from Vancouver. Honolulu and Suva. Passengers, mail aud cargo for New Zealand will be landed at Prince's Wharf. The Union Company announces that sho is to leave Auckland for Sydney at noon tomorrow. RICHARDSON LINE STEAMERS. The Richardson Line steamer Awahou went on the slip yesterday for cleaning and painting. She will bo floated off today and will berth at Central Wharf to load for Tokomaru Bay, Tologa Bay and Gisborne. Her departure from Auckland has been fixed for six o'clock to-morrow evening. Messrs. Watkin and Wallis advise that the Mako left Napier on Saturday night for Auckland, via coast bays. Due hero at the end of the week she will load for East Const ports and Napier. MAUNGANUI IN PORT. An arrival at Auckland yesterday morning was the Union Company's intercolonial steamer Maunganui, after a fine-weather passage from Sydney.
