WORK RESUMED AT LAMBETH LONDON, Deo. 24, The bricklayers engaged in connection with the Lambeth Council's housing scheme who went on strike because an alderman said that" it took a man 72 seconds to lay a brick, have resumed work. The alderman amended his statement, but pointed out that the men were laying only 444 bricks each a day, instead of 750, and that meanwhile 150 other workers had lost their Christmas wages.
