EX-PREMIERS PROSCRIBED. COMMUNIST PLOT DISCOVERED. A. end N.Z. ATHENS. Jan. 1. General Pangalos, leader of the Greek Revolutionary Party, in a communique, forbids the press to publish speeches or articles by the former Prime Ministers, M. Kafandaris, Michalakopoulos, or M. Papanastasiou, on the ground that they have forfeited the right to call themselves statesmen or even Greek citizens. Tho three ex-Prime Ministers have been deprived of their citizenship in consequence of conduct which is alleged to be detrimental to tho integrity of tho State. The Government has discovered a Communist plot for the revolt of tho army and navy.
