NEW YEAR GREETINGS. MESSAGE TO EX-SERVICE MEN. (Received 5.5 p.m.) Itouter. LONDON, Jan 1. The Prince of Wales, as patron of the British Legion, lias sent through tiie Region's journal to all ex-servicc men and the widows and dependants of the fallen his very best wishes for 1926. The Prince says that lie has now had the privilege of travelling through the British Commonwealth of Nations, and has scon the enormous number of ex-service men dnd women and also the widows and dependants who were kind enough to come to greet him. He rejoices to realise that the same spirit ci loyalty and affection to their country and Empire pervades the countries he visited, as is the case here in the Old Country.
