WOMAN TAKES HER LIFE.
ATTRIBUTED TO DEPRESSION. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] "WAIHI, Friday. A married -woman, Mr 3. McGrath, aged 41, wife of Mr. Thomas McGrath, fisherman, of Tanner's Point, Katikati,. took her life yesterday morning. She was with her husband on a launch at eight o'clock whew she loft him. On going away she remarked that ifc would be the last occasion ho would see She went to her cottage and took poison. Dr. Shaw, - w ho was in the locality, was called in and administered emetics, but the woman died three hours later. Evidence rtf. the inquest showed that on one occasion deceased told her husband 1 that one clay she would give him a big surprise. On another occasion she said she would not have long to live. The husband did not take this seriously. The coroner found that deceased took poison while in a depressed state of mind.
