. PRESENTATION CEREMONY. ! | RECEIVING THE RED HAT. LONDON, Deo. '22. A message from Paris says that a battalion of infantry, with colours flying and with a band playing, rendered honours in the courtyard of the Elysee, the official residence of the President of France, when the Archbishop of Paris, Cardinal Dubois, presented the red hat to Cardinal Cerretti, who has been Papal Nuncio to France since 1921. Cardinal Cerretti wore a bishop's violet robes and lcnelt on a veivet cushion which was last used at Rheiras at tha crowning of Charles X. Monsignor Cerretti was Apostolic Delegate to Australia and New Zealand frorj 1914 to 1917.
