BOLT WITH A HAY RAKE.
MAN THROWN AND INJURED. [BY TELEGRAPH.—-OWN* COIIKESPONDENT. J OTOROHANOA, Thursday. An accident, invoking injuries to Mr. Leonard Bowler, son of Mr. C. Bowler, farmer, ci' Otewa, took place this afternoon. The young man was driving a horse, attached to a hay rake, when ho was passed by a motor-lorry. He pulled to one side to avoid a collision, but the lorry grazed the horse, which bolted. Mr. Bowler was thrown, off and his leg was broken. Dr. Cronfeld was called and attended to his injuries, and ho, was afterwards taken to the Walks,to Hospital.
