BLOODSTOCK SALE. ■J BALLYMOY REALISES 700GNS. The blordstock sale conducted by Messrs. Alfred Buckland and Sons. Ltd.. was conclilded at the Ellerslio racecourse on Saturday last. There was a large attendance, but, with the exception of a few instances, bidding was very disappointing. Quite a number of lots were knocked down for comparatively small sums, whilo in m&nv other cases horses paraded were pa.ssed in. Chief interest centred round the sale o f Mr. Hugo Friedlander's horses in training. Several were knocked down at small prices, but there was a spirited competition for the English-bred mare Ballymoy 11. The first bid was 200 ens. and in the space of a couplo of minutes it was raised to 700gns, at which aum she fell to the bid of Mr. N. Cunningham, who, it is stated, was acting for Mr. John Donald. Mr. C. G. Brookes officiated us auctioneer, and no handled the many that presented themselves with characteristic good humour.
