CALLS DURING THE YEAR. [BY TELEG B AFH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] DUNEDIN, Thursday. The total number of calls received by the Dunedin Fire Brigade from January 1 last up to to-day was 255. Of thus number 112 were calls to actual fires, the remainder being calls to bush, rubbish and ilimney fires and falsa alarms. There are now 58 men on the rol) of the Dunedin Fire Board's staff, 36 permanent rren, 10 auxiliaries and 12 theatre men.
