A WEDDING.

A very pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Andrew's Church, Epsom, on Saturday evening when Miss Margaret Ball, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. IX Ball, Oruaiti, Gardner Road. Epsom, was married to Mr. John A. Biss, son of the late Mr. M. M Biss and Mrs. Biss, of Wellington. Tiie Rev. Lionel Harvie crfhciated. The church was charmingly decorated with rambler roses in two shades of pink, trails of which were looped across the chancel and banked along the railings. Clusters of roses were arranged in tall vases in front of the altar, and posies cf pink and white roses were attached to the ends of the pews, while a wedding bell of roses was suspended from the chancel arch. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a lovely gown of white silk net embossed with silver roses over ivory georgette. Godets of silk net fell from the hips and at one side spray of orange blossom was arranged.' Her tulle veil, which formed the train, was caught over the ears with clusters of orange blossom and she carried a sheaf of St. Joseph lilies. The bridesmaids. Miss B. Ball, sister of the bride, Miss S. Rutherford and Miss M. Rowley, wore almond green frocks of marocain with flared skirts attached to the deep tunics, and swathings of tulle with loose ends were caught around their heads with silver ribbons. Their bouquets were of pink sweet peas. Mr. W. D. Ball was best, man and Mr. G. Biss and Mr. S. Kitc.henman were groomsmen. After the ceremony a reception was held at Oruaiti, where the rooms were decorated with bowls of pink roses and in the drawingroom the bride , and bridegroom stood under a wedding bell of roses to receive the congratulations o •' guests.
