NEW SOUTH WALES LAW. WEST AUSTRALIA REJECTS. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, Dec. 10. A deputation, representing the Employers' Association of New South Wales, urged the Minister for Labour to defer the date of the proclamation of the 44 hours week to enable industries to prepare for the change. The deputation also asked that the coming into operation of the law be delayed until further efforts have been made to induce the other States to come into line in regard to the 44 hours legislation. The Minister promised to place the matter before Cabinet, A message from Perth states that the West Australian Legislative Assembly rejected the Forty-four Hours Week Bill introduced by the Government by 18 votes to 11.
