THE ROXBURGH RAILWAY
OPENED TO MILLER'S FLAT. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] DUXEDIN. Wednesday. The Hon. Cr. ,T. Anderson to-day officially opened a new section of railway from Beaumont to Miller's Flat, a distance of nearly 15 miles. Much satisfaction was expressed at the manner in which the line had been pushed on by the Minister for Railways. Residents expressed themselves as also gratified at the present progess of the railway extension from Miller's Flat to Roxburgh, and the opinion was expressed that it would be completed within two years.
