SPAIN AND GERMANY.
TRADE WAR DECLARED.
EXPIRATION OF A TREATY. LONDON. Nov. 7. Spain has declared a trade war against Germany. The Madrid correspondent of the Times says a Royal decree totally prohibits the importation of German goods into the free ports of the Canary Islands and Morocco, and imposes prohibitive duties on all German goods entering Spain and the Balearic Islands. This drastic action is the result of what is officially described as Germany's dilatoriness in connection with the negotiations for a commercial treaty to replace the trewy which expired on October 15. Tho Spanish press unanimously upholds the Government's action.
